Eudy Dies in California

Joseph David Eudy, 53, the brother of James Eudy and Mrs. Elmer Pinkston of Bonham, died Tuesday Sept 22, 1964 while working at his job in Richmond, California.

The body will be flown to Dallas Friday and brought to Wise Funeral Home in Bonham where arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Eudy was born June 3, 1911 in Ladonia, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph David Eudy.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Leola (Chaffin) Eudy of the home in California, a step-mother Mrs. Grammer, of Bonham; three children, two step-children, six brothers and four sisters.

Eudy Services to be Held Monday

Funeral Services for Joseph David Eudy, 53, will be held at the Wise Funeral Home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Monday with Billy Barr [?], Church of Christ minister officiating. Interment will be in the Fannin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Eudy died Tuesday Sept. 22, 1964 while at work in Richmond, Calif.

Mr. Eudy was born June 3, 1911 in Ladonia, but had mad his home in California for a number of years.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Leola Chaffin Eudy of Richmond, California, two sons, Kenneth Eudy of Sacramento and Robert D. Deskin of Richmond Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Palmer and Mrs. Jane Tucker both of Haywood Calif. [third daughter?] ; six brothers, James Eudy and Charley Eudy both of Bonham, Hiram Eudy of Sherman, Gover Eudyand Dee Eudy of Ladonia, Herbert Eudy of Fort Worth; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Caplinger and Miss Nellie Eudy of Gober, Mrs. Ocleta Dawson and Mrs. Nina Ruth Pilkinton of Bonham and eight grandchildren.

Fannin Memorial Gardens is located on TX121, 2 miles south of the intersection of TX56 and TX121 on the southern edge of Bonham. It is directly on the west side of the road and easily seen from TX121.
