Lester "Tex" Womack

Graveside services for Mr. Lester "Tex" Womack, age 76, of the Boyd Community, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2000 at the Lamasco Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Mr. Womack passed away on May 11, 2000 at his residence.

Mr. Womack was born on July 23, 1923, the son of Stanley Hoyt Womack and Elsie May Hammett Womack. He married Evie Roberts on Feb. 19, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They moved to Bonham in 1959 from Houston. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Womack was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Evie Womack of the Boyd Community and several family members and firends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until service time on Monday, May 15, 2000.
