Harvie Robinson

Harvie James Robinson, a retired machinist at Southwest Pump Co., died Tuesday night at Fannin County Hospital. He was 76.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Ted White at 2 p.m. Thursday, in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Fannin Memorial Gardens.

A native of Sulphur Springs, Mr. Robinson was born Dec. 9, 1908, to Thomas Henry and Sallie Delia Robinson.

He was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Southwest Pump in 1977.

He was a Baptist.

Surviving are his widow, Lucy Diamond, of the home; three sisters, Maggie Towery, Dorothy McKenzie, both of Bonham, and Ollie Kazzar, of Granfiedl, Ok.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Wise Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Andy D. William, James and Steve Towery, Weldon McKenzie and Jerry and Thomas Lawson.

Fannin Memorial Gardens is located on TX121, 2 miles south of the intersection of TX56 and TX121 on the southern edge of Bonham. It is directly on the west side of the road and easily seen from TX121.
